Roots of the Gameplay II

Hello guys,

sorry I didn't post for a few weeks now, but I've been superbusy...

Last time I said that Minecraft today is abaout surviving:
So let's come straight to the point:

When you spawn, you'll find yourself at the surface of a brand-new, never before touched, individual created world... which has been created by some algorythm the Minecraft developers meant is great (which is really great I have to say ;-) )

So you are there, standing around in a forest, on an island, the top of a mountain, maybe a swamp, close to a river or just in the middle of a desert...

So what are you going to do?

First you should build a shelter in which you are save from the dangerous creatures walking around at night... Yes, there are some cute animals walking around (chickens, pigs, cows, etc.), but at night you will meet classic fantasy creatures like zombies and skeletton warriors, giant spiders, creeps (I'll come to that a**hole-creature another time specifically) or the endermen! And all of them want to see you dead!

You can create your shelter out of some materials like Stone, Wood or Dirt (which doesn't look very pretty to be honest). After you've made your decision, you need to get those materials...

If you decided to build a stone shelter you have to create a pickaxe....

And because I'm tired, you will read next time about a very important pillar of minecraft: the crafting itself.

Craft ya next time,
Scorchycraft
